Man i m hating this society to d core as they are bothered abt everybody else other dan demselves really it is so irritating wats d prob with dem why is it a big issue if a person is diff or is having a fixed mind or liking.Gosh its sad 2 see this.If u ask a guy why he didnt choose mech he wud say dat everybody said dat mech is not gud and ece helps u in ur life.DUDE GET A LIFE.......not every ECE guy is in a electronics company,that ass will be in an IT comp only and u r allowed into an IT company no matter in which dept u r in.U will be recruited for sure as long as u r not a compsci stu :). i m not jokin its diff for dem 2 get into d comp dan us. and d stupid society shows its ugly face again whn ur marks go down.HOW D HELL CAN U EVER COMPARE PEOPLE FRM 2 DIFF DEPT.a guy gettin 10 in biot is not an issue a guy gettin an arrear is an issue where as in mech a guy gettin an arrear is not an issue a guy gettin 10 is....Its completely 2 diff entities.dont ever compare 2 diff dept its of no use really,and ya 2 top it all its completely 2 diff people first realize wat ur son or daughter wants allow dem 2 do wat dey want and dont play a role in their life 2.den comes d next shit JOB.....this is d season of this shit really where ever u go dere are people 2 ask why arent u placed yet was it tough are u not gud in apti etc etc i hav only one word for u all 'SHUT' plzzzzzzzz shut up dont worry abt dem dey hav dere own plans not every human being is d same and none wants d same shit.Be happy dat ur son or daughter has it dont worry abt d public.........really d parents of d guy who is aint placed get so upset dat d guy is forced 2 get himself placed 2 please dem as all kno PARENTS ARE EVERYTHIN

Well u cant str8 away say a non-compsci/IT student seeking a software job is bad coz certain ppl(like me) find coding more interesting than core(of course could have joined compsci in that case but i(if not all) choose my branch based on my interest which dwindled due to various reasons). Coming to comparisons i totally i agree with u :)
Parents are quite a generation behind so its our duty to show them the light...

I supposedly keep putting my parents through hell by evoking public sympathy after every exam with by my trademark horrible performance... It happened so often that people have stamped the "blacksheep" mark on me (the only mark I seem to get anyways) Now my parents are immune to this knowing that no matter how much "Aunty X" or "Uncle Y" needle me, spit out sarcasm or try to patronize me, all they'd get out of me is a brilliant unaffected smile which conveys much more attitude that a juicy swear! Parents are worried not for themselves but for us! So as long as our parents see us geniunely happy.. they'd be happy too.. I hope you got the msg Mani..
